Nurturing Nature in Children is a platform that fosters meaningful connections between children and nature, nurturing a positive attitude towards the environment by intertwining play, learning and sustainability in early childhood education.
Our goal is to share learning stories and practical ideas that can inspire educators, parents and caregivers to create positive experiences to encourage children to explore, learn, and care for Nature.
The learning experiences are organised in an environmental education framework with six Pillars. .
Each pillar corresponds to a different key area that will explore and promote different ways to connect children and nature.
To get started, all you have to do is pick any of the six areas to read and find out more about.
“Children are born with a sense of wonder and affinity for nature. Properly cultivated, these values can mature into ecoliteracy, and eventually into sustainable patterns of living”
